Youth

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe once said "Youth wants to be stimulated rather than thought."

By the way, sorry for the long time I haven't been posting! I'm not much of a fan when it comes to literary works, and yes I'm a hypocrite since I'm an aspiring writer. I just stumbled into the quote while I was reading this current manga, (wasting my tears into small things like watching dramas) anyhow, when I read this, I was like uh-huh, since it's really true! Learning things from school could be very boring, especially when all the teacher does is give you work, make your life miserable, and well make your life miserable. (The intent of saying it twice *snickers*) I'm the type, and I'm sure most of you could relate to this, I'm the type of person who learns a lot and am passionate in learning more if I'm comfortable with the teacher, if the teacher was fun to be with and knew what they were teaching. I really hate those kinds of teacher who dump the work over our tables and scolds us for not learning anything at all! I mean whose fault is that? It's not our fault right? I've stumbled into different kinds of teacher and love to categorize them into two simple categories - the simple, nice, easy going teachers: where I learn a lot and enjoy the class. And the latter, the bluntly boring class - where most of the time the teacher just tells you what to do and sits back down tending to other things.
I hate to say, it but some teachers aren't even passionate with their jobs (makes me wonder why they became a teacher in the first place) first of all, sometimes they don't do their job, they don't care what happens to the class, and worst I even had a teacher once who even told our class stupid! Even saying he didnt care if we didnt learn anything because he still gets paid just to sit there and watch us. (In the first place, if they were just there to watch us, our parents could have just paid a babysitter right?)

So back to my point. Again, I'm the type of person who loves an open environment, if you're comfortable with your teachers, and they are passionate and comfortable with their jobs as well, we'd learn a lot. I learn a lot with hands on activities, when a teacher actually takes the extra effort to make sure we learn something while making the class. Work is fine, but too much, not to mention how boring it is considering how hard it is for us kids to sit around in our assigned seats for an hour and a half, would definitely not work out.

As the future, the young youth who is blooming and growing every second of every minute of every hour of every day of every month of every year that passes, we'll learn something as we grow, but if we were just thought, we'll eventually grow tired of it. We are adventurous and we love the sense of fun in our learning. It's like learning how to ride a bike, if you are just taught you'll never get it until you fall, you'll fall but that determination would keep building up until you finally succeed! It's like learning how to love, it's not words and fantasies, you have to have experience to it, feel it yourself, you wont learn how to love if you are taught. You'll feel pain, you'll feel bliss, but that's all it is to life.

Stimulating yourself through the environment around you helps a lot, after all, we were born to be adventurers and wanders. We want to learn stuff by ourselves and pass on that knowledge to the future generations.
